A lovely win for my cat today, my 14 year old cat received a present in the post today, a pack of food. The lovely people at Encore Pet Food sent me a pack of 8 tins of their natural cat food to try.
Made with 75% chicken and 100% natural ingredients, it is the best smelling tin of cat food I have ever opened. It has a 'flaky' texture rather than chunks of meat, which the cat seemed to like. I first put a tin of the chicken breast down for her to try, unfortunately the puppies liked the smell as well and the cat only got a tiny bit. I can honestly say the puppies loved it. Next we tried the ham and she managed to eat all that, the puppies made sure that the bowl was clean after though.
After her food she settled down to sleep.
Although I couldn't afford to buy this all the time (especially if the puppies keep eating it) I would buy it as a special treat.

Outback Organics Tea Tree Hair Care
I've had some Outback Organics tea tree shampoo and conditioner since before Christmas and have only recently got round to using them. When I first opened the bottle, the smell was lovely, sometimes tea tree can have an overpowering smell but this wasn't the case.
The shampoo is creamy and lathers well, my hair smells fresher and is noticeably softer and shinier since using these. I am also happy with how long a bottle will last. I am only having to use a third of the amount of shampoo compared to other brands, so very cost effective.
Outback Organics get a 10/10 from me for their shampoo and conditioner. The best I have used in a long time.

White Glo Extra Strength Whitening Toothpaste
We recently had the chance to try some White Glo Extra Strength Whitening Toothpaste. I have tried whitening toothpastes in the past but found them very abrasive. I had read that the White Glo was a low abrasion product so I was very pleased when I got the chance to try it out.
After using the toothpaste for a week you can see the difference. I must add that I can't see the difference on my own teeth (probably because I see them everyday) but I have noticed the difference on my husbands teeth.
My teeth will probably never be 'pearly white' again, but there is a definite improvement. The only thing I would change would be to give it a minty taste as my mouth feels fresher after minty toothpaste.

Miamoo Spritz and Wipe
I was recently lucky enough to try some Miamoo Spritz and Wipe. Spritz and Wipe is a multi-purpose eco wipe which is enriched with minerals, and, it's alcohol free. I must say I love the smell as do my 2 little girls. It's a lovely lime smell which is a treat to use. Although it doesn't smell 'girly' so boys would like it as well!
To use, simply spray on and wipe away with either cotton wool or a flannel. You can use it instead of a traditional wipe at nappy changing times, or, to wipe mucky bits when out and about.
Although mainly aimed at being used for babies, as I've found it's also perfect for older children as well. I've been using it to clean hands and even to help get tangles out of the children's hair (their hair smells gorgeous after).
It's free from parabens, petrochemicals and phthalates. As my eldest has eczema I love the fact that it uses 98% natural ingredients.
This product gets a big thumbs up from me and the children.

TinyMe Personalised Books
Tinyme.co.uk
Just before Christmas I was lucky enough to win a personalised book from
tinyme. The book we chose was Australian Adventure for our 6 year old Jessica.
In the story your child joins Cheeky Monkey in a trip to Australia
looking for their friend, Kanga Jack. There are lots of fun facts throughout
the book and many native Australian animals are mentioned in the text. Your
child will be learning as they read. What most appealed to Jessica was that her
name was mentioned 25 times in the book and also on the front cover.
The book is aimed at pre-school to early primary school age children and
is just right for that age group.
It is available in 2 sizes:
It is available in 2 sizes:
- £16.99 for the small size, 195mm x 153mm
- £19.99 for the large size, 270mm x 210mm
I wouldn't buy this as an everyday book as it's too special. But, it is a perfect gift for
special occasions such as Christmas or birthdays.
